Not much to say about me. I am a recently-graduated-from-university history major who's now making her money as an IT Analyst. Funny world... I like to write, draw, make zines, and dabble in other creative endeavors that strike my fancy. Variety is the spice of life and all that jazz.

My historical interests are mainly Victorian and Edwardian Great Britain, theatre history, WWII, the French and Indian War, the French Revolution, GLBT history, and feminist history. I am always happy to be nerdy with other history fans. XD I am also in love with languages. English is my native tongue, but I'm trying to become fluent in German too. I've also had a bit of Japanese in hopes of eventually learning to translate my non-English manga, and I know some French as well, but I'm way out of practice, haha.

True to my Sagittarius zodiac sign, I am an avid traveler who always has a bag packed and ready to go. :D So far I've been to Canada, Great Britain, Germany, and all over the USA. London has a special claim on my heart.

Travel is my favorite drug, but I also have a weakness for old typewriters and really good iced chai tea. Cats, bunnies, and the colors black and chartreuse make me smile.

Me in my nutshell: writer, artist, historian, asexual lesbian, confirmed bacheloress, feminist, introverted, childfree, eccentric, zinester, nerd, atheist, book lover, easily amused.

In short, I am generally weird and mostly friendly but not particularly tolerant of asshattery.

Five books I recommend (because nobody can read too many books):
  • Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

  • In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

  • Cunt by Inga Muscio

  • The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

  • Bunnicula by Deborah and James Howe

I also have a less f-locked journal as tsuru_san which is strictly for my writing. It's mainly stories involving angel and demon mythology or historical fiction. There's still some old fanfic too (like from Underworld and HP) and more recent Good Omens stuff. Either way, expect predominantly slash/yaoi. XD
